If it is necessary to order replacement parts or indeed replace the unit we will provide a quote to you first for your approval.
Our staff will also ask you to check whether the air conditioner or heating unit is still covered by the manufacturer’s warranty as this can save you unnecessary expense. What if my unit is not worth repairing?
This happens from time to time, but if we find that your air conditioner or heating unit is too costly to repair and a system is required, we will provide you with a quote to supply and install a new one. Typically this happens when a unit is old, has been used without regular maintenance for many years or the original manufacturer simply no longer carries the part(s). Quick Air does not like to replace units unnecessarily and if there is an option to find an aftermarket part or a second part we will do this in preference, provided you agree. If you accept the quote, we will also provide you with full or partial credit of the initial booking fee, so you are not out of pocket.
