How often should I service my cooling or heating system?
For air conditioners we recommend a service every year, and at minimum every two years. For gas heaters, at least every two years with a carbon monoxide test, because an unserviced gas heater can leak carbon monoxide, which is dangerous. Regular servicing keeps the system running efficiently, which lowers your power bills, helps it last longer, and keeps your manufacturer warranty valid. The best time to book is just before the season turns.
How much does it cost, and are there any hidden fees?
No hidden fees. A standard service is a fixed $259 for new customers, or $249 if you have booked with us before, with an additional unit on the same visit at $179 (or $169 returning). An on-site installation quote is $149, credited back if you go ahead with the install. There are no call-out fees, no per-minute charges, and no surprises. The price you see is the price you pay, and any additional parts or work are quoted and approved by you first.
Should I repair my system or replace it?
We will always tell you honestly. If the cost to repair is close to or exceeds the cost of a new system, the technician will say so and can provide a quote for a replacement, with no pressure either way. If an aftermarket part can be sourced to save you money, we will look into it. And if you do decide to replace, the initial booking fee is credited toward the new installation. Interest-free finance is available on new installs.
