Why do I need an on-site quote instead of a price over the phone?
Because the right system depends on your actual home. The size and layout, the number of rooms, where the indoor and outdoor units can go, noise, and how you use the space all change what suits you and what it costs. A licensed technician assessing your home in person is how you avoid the two most common install mistakes: a system that’s too small to keep up, or one that’s oversized and wastes money. How much does an installation quote cost, and is it really credited back?
The on-site quote is a fixed $149, or $139 if you’ve booked with us before. If you go ahead with the install, that fee is credited against the total cost of the job, so you’re not out of pocket for the assessment. Every price is fixed and known upfront, with no call-out fees and no surprises. Interest-free finance is available on new installs.
Which type of system should I install?
That depends on your home and what you want from it. Ducted reverse cycle is the most seamless option for whole-home heating and cooling from one system. Split and multi-split systems suit room-by-room control or homes where roof space is limited. Evaporative cooling is a cost-effective, energy-efficient choice for cooling in drier climates. Gas and hydronic systems are strong options where heating is the priority. Our technician talks you through the trade-offs on-site and recommends what genuinely fits, with no pressure either way.
Should I repair my old system or replace it?
We’ll always tell you honestly. If the cost to repair is close to or exceeds the cost of a new system, the technician will say so and can provide a quote for a replacement, with no pressure either way. If your existing system is near the end of its life, we’ll let you know that too. And if you decide to replace, the initial booking fee is credited toward the new installation.
